The pad features CCMs D3O LITE impact sensitive foam in the knee cap as well as the calf area. The knee cap is covered by a hard plastic (PE) shell with CCMs JDP design allowing impacts to be dispersed and pushed away from the knee joint. The Tacks 7092 Hockey Shin Guards can withstand all types of abuse from pucks and sticks with its medium density foams found throughout the knee wing and calf wrap. The knee wing on the CCM Tacks 7092 Hockey Shin Pads provides some extra protection from shots with more of CCMs mid-density foams paired with plastic inserts. Inside the pad is a microfiber liner that helps wick away sweat and provide extra comfort with segmented low-density foams. The liner can easily be removed from the pad to make cleaning the pad a breeze.
